In this 1984 erotic thriller, fashion designer Joanna Crane leads a double life as China Blue, a prostitute who attracts the attention of two men: Bobby Grady, an ordinary man drawn into her seductive world, and "Reverend" Peter Shayne, a psychopathic priest with a dark obsession. As Joanna navigates her complicated relationships with both men, she must confront the truth about herself and her desires, all while facing off against the sinister Shayne, who will stop at nothing to claim her. A film of sex and suspense that explores themes of human relationships and mental illness, Crimes of Passion is a provocative and unsettling ride.
