"Kiki" is a 2016 documentary film that follows the lives of LGBTQ youth of color in New York City's voguing battles and daily struggles. Self-identified members of the ballroom community, including Twiggy Pucci Garçon, Gia Marie Love, Loretta Coombs, Divo Pink Lady, and Afrika Juicy Couture, share their experiences with competition, activism, and finding community. The film explores issues of racism, homophobia, and HIV/AIDS, shedding light on a marginalized community fighting for visibility and real political power.
