Shrek

Shrek is an asocial ogre named Shrek who loves the solitude of his swamp and enjoys fending off mobs and intruders. He teams up with a wisecracking donkey to rescue Princess Fiona from the clutches of a fire-breathing dragon in exchange for regaining control of his swamp, joining forces with Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) after they meet and begin to develop feelings for each other, as an embittered ogre seeks to reclaim his home and true love's first kiss breaks the curse that turns him into an "ugly beast".
