Island of Swans

Fourteen-year-old Stefan Kolbe moves from his idyllic small town to Berlin-Marzahn with his mother and sister after his father's job. He must adapt to a new environment surrounded by strange people. Stefan befriends Hubert, defends him against Windjacke, an older student who humiliateously torments him, and encourages him to stand up for himself. In the end, their bitter fight between Stefan and Windjacke ends in tragedy.
