Sin City

In Sin City, Basin City beckons to its tough and corrupt residents, including aging cop Hartigan (Bruce Willis), who tries to protect a young woman named Nancy from a sadistic pervert; Marv (Mickey Rourke) seeks revenge for the murder of his hooker girlfriend; and Dwight McCarthy (Clive Owen) attempts to help the red light girls stay independent from the mob. The film's unique color processing renders most of it in black and white, with selected objects retained or added in color, adding to its gritty and visually striking atmosphere.
