Voodoo Woman

In 1957, Edward L. Cahn directed this low-budget horror classic, starring Marla English in her final film role as Marilyn Blanchard, a ruthless treasure hunter. When a party of gold seekers stumbles upon Dr. Roland Gerard's (Tom Conway) village, the scientist realizes that Marilyn is the perfect subject for his experiments to create an indestructible being. With the help of Paul Blaisdell's iconic monster creation, Dr. Gerard's plans are thwarted when Marilyn, transformed into a superhuman monster, turns against her creator and wreaks havoc on the jungle.
