Land of Hope

Anni, a wealthy woman played by Oona Airola, falls for Veikko Naskali, a wounded veteran of the Continuation War played by Konsta Laakso, and leaves her life behind to start anew in North Karelia with him and their horse Liinu. As they build a home together, Anni must confront the challenges of rural life, family disapproval, and Veikko's deteriorating health. Despite setbacks, including an attempt to steal their land, Anni and Veikko's commitment to each other ultimately prevails, allowing them to build a life filled with love, hard work, and a sense of belonging.
