Lu Chan (Jayden Yuan), a loyal soldier of the Divine Truth Cult, is forced to leave his life behind after discovering he has a special power that drains his energy and makes him act foolishly. He is sent to Chen Village to learn Chen-style kung fu from Grandmaster Chen Chang Xiang, but the villagers are forbidden to teach outsiders, leading Lu Chan to engage in a series of fights against the villagers' strongest martial artists.
