The Star Chamber

As violence escalates in Los Angeles and heinous murders are committed, a young judge of the California Supreme Court must struggle with his tortured conscience as he watches helplessly as ruthless criminals brought before his court go free due to clever lawyers finding obscure loopholes in the law. Haunted by the thought of justice being served through extrajudicial means, the judge becomes embroiled in a secret society that identifies and targets guilty criminals who can't be brought to justice through the judicial system. With the help of a hired assassin, the society takes matters into its own hands, leading the judge to confront his own morality and question the true nature of right and justice.
