Radio Follies

In this zany comedy, Will Hay stars as the bumbling Director General of the National Broadcasting Group, a satire of Lord Reith and the BBC, who becomes desperate to boost ratings after discovering his programming is too high-brow for the masses. With the help of his Head of Complaints, Jimmy (Clifford Mollison), he sets out to create a series of variety spectaculars, but obstacles abound as they navigate their own cast of wannabe stars. As the stakes rise, Hay's character must confront the challenges of bringing entertainment to the airwaves.
