Sphere

A mysterious underwater object is discovered on the floor of the Pacific Ocean, estimated to have been there for nearly 300 years. A team of experts is assembled and taken to the Habitat, a state-of-the-art underwater living environment, to investigate. As they delve deeper into the ship's technology and logs, they uncover a series of cryptic messages that suggest an "unknown event" occurred hundreds of years in the future - or past. The team soon discovers a giant, perfect sphere hovering in the cargo bay, which seems to be the source of their deepest fears.
