Kiss Me Deadly

A dark and foreboding journey begins when Mike Hammer, a tough private investigator, picks up an attractive hitchhiker named Christina on a lonely country road. Thugs waylay them, forcing Hammer to stop, and when he awakens from a coma, he hears Christina's screams as she is brutally tortured to death. Hammer's quest for vengeance becomes entangled with a mysterious poem by Christina Rossetti, leading him down a path of violence, deception, and danger at every turn.
