Meet Me in St. Louis

The film is set in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1903 and follows the Smith family as they prepare for the opening of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition World's Fair in the spring of 1904. The story centers around Esther Smith (Judy Garland), who falls in love with her neighbor John Truett, while her younger sister Tootie navigates her own crush on the iceman Mr. Neely. As the family struggles to cope with the news that they must move to New York, they learn valuable lessons about love, loyalty, and family relationships.
