The Last Waltz

The Last Waltz is hailed as one of the greatest documentary concert films ever made. The film features concert performances by the Canadian-American rock group the Band and its incredible farewell tour, intertwined with probing backstage interviews and featured performances by Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, and other rock legends. Filmed by director Martin Scorsese, the concert was held on American Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1976, at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco.
