In 1994, hardworking Mi-soo (Kim Go-eun) and optimistic Hyun-woo (Jung Hae-in) meet at a bakery and fall in love while exchanging stories on a radio station. Five years later, they reconnect through email and start dating, with Mi-soo eventually becoming a successful author. However, their pasts come back to haunt them when Hyun-woo's former friend is wrongly accused of killing his childhood friend, forcing him to confront the truth about his own innocence and re-evaluate his relationship with Mi-soo.
