Once a Thief

In this 1965 crime drama, Alain Delon stars as Eddie Pedak, a former convict trying to rebuild his life in San Francisco. Ann-Margret plays his wife Kristine, who finds herself caught up in her husband's troubles with the law. As Eddie becomes embroiled in a complex heist plot, Van Heflin's character Inspector Mike Vido pursues him relentlessly, driven by a personal vendetta and a desire for justice. The film's tense standoff between good and evil ultimately ends in tragedy.
