Star Trek: The Motion Picture

In 2270, humanity is threatened by a mysterious and powerful alien cloud known as V'Ger, which approaches Earth, destroying everything in its path. Captain James T. Kirk assumes command of the recently refitted Starship Enterprise to lead it on a mission to determine V'Ger's origins and save the planet. As the crew navigates their new systems and confronts an advanced, non-biological living machine, they must reconcile with the possibility that humanity may be the creator of this force, forcing them to re-evaluate their existence and purpose.
