I Am the Blues

A musical journey through the swamps of the Louisiana Bayou and the Mississippi Delta, "I Am the Blues" follows Jimmy "Duck" Holmes and Bobby Rush as they explore the traditional African American Chitlin' Circuit, visiting some of the oldest blues musicians still performing in their 80s. The film profiles a diverse group of legendary blues artists, including Barbara Lynn, Henry Gray, Carol Fran, Lazy Lester, Bilbo Walker, RL Boyce, Lil Buck Sinegal, and LC Ulmer.
