Ivanhoe

Ivanhoe is a 1982 historical romance television film directed by Douglas Camfield and starring Anthony Andrews as Sir Wilfred of Ivanhoe, a noble knight returning to England after the holy wars to find the country under the reign of Prince John and embroiled in a power struggle for the throne. With the help of Robin Hood, Ivanhoe must navigate this treacherous landscape, while also confronting his own sense of identity and purpose. Along the way, he develops complex relationships with Lady Rowena and Rebecca of York, played by Lysette Anthony and Olivia Hussey respectively, in a story that explores themes of honor, loyalty, and prejudice.
