The Lowrys adopt a stray Golden Retriever named Pilot, who gives birth to six puppies. As the family grows close to Pilot and her pups, they ultimately decide to give them away after weaning, but Pilot becomes determined to recover them. Robert Hays and Mel Harris star as Tom and Karen Lowry, respectively. The film is a heartwarming story about love, family, and what's truly important, with Betty White playing Mrs. Krisper.
