In a dark and anonymous city, a group of British teenagers indulge in joyriding and ramraiding as their sport of choice. Characterized by stolen cars being driven through shop windows to aid large-scale looting before the police arrive, this "shopping" trip is a labour of love for Billy and Jo, but a business for Tommy. As the competition between Tommy and Billy grows more fierce, the stakes become higher and the risks increasingly risky.
