Black Cat, White Cat

Matko Destanov (Bajram Severdžan) and his teenage son Zare are forced to marry Afrodita, Dadan's dwarf sister, after Matko owes a loan to notorious gangster Grga Pitić. The young lovers are not as agreeable, with Zare falling in love with Ida, a barmaid who works at the Roma-owned establishment run by Sujka, her grandmother. As they navigate their arranged marriages and try to find happiness amidst superstition and bad luck, Zare and Ida concoct a plan to bring down Dadan, forcing them to choose between their loyalty to family and their own desires.
