A man in free fall, Uxbal is a tragic hero and single father who senses the danger of death, struggling to forgive, for love, and forever amidst a tainted reality and a fate that works against him. With only a few months to live, diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer, his world progressively falls apart as he confronts the darkness within himself and those around him, including a group of Chinese illegal immigrants, African street vendors, and a past that refuses to stay buried. Set in Barcelona, this poignant tale is a story of mortality, redemption, and the unyielding human spirit.
