Inspector Gadget is a 1999 superhero comedy film that tells the origin story of John Brown, a bumbling security guard who becomes the first test subject for the Gadget Program after being injured in an explosion planned by Dr. Claw. With the help of his niece Penny and her dog Brain, John uses his new gadgets to stop Dr. Claw's evil plot and eventually foil the villain's plans.
