Red Sun

In 1870, a Japanese ambassador travels across the United States on a train carrying a valuable ceremonial tachi sword meant as a gift for the president, while two robbers, Link and Gauche, plan to steal it. When they succeed, Link is accidentally left behind by his gang and must team up with the samurai bodyguard Kuroda to track down Gauche and retrieve the stolen sword, leading to a bond between them that ultimately drives their adversaries to confront each other in a violent showdown.
