Modigliani

In 1919 Paris, Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani is torn between his art and his loved ones. His romance with Jeanne Hébuterne, a young Catholic woman, culminates in an illegitimate child, prompting her family to send the baby to a convent. Desperate to raise their daughter and provide for their unborn child, Modigliani enters a prestigious art competition despite feeling it's beneath him, fueled by his addiction and desperation. His desperate act pays off when he wins the prize, but at a tragic cost: his own life and the loss of those he loves.
