Sucker Punch

A young woman, institutionalized by her abusive stepfather, retreats into a vivid fantasy world where she envisions a plan to escape. Gathering a group of fellow inmates, she embarks on a quest to collect five mystical items, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. In this fantasy world, she envisions herself as a strong warrior, facing various challenges including samurai giants, robots, and a war zone, all while being pursued by her stepfather's henchmen. With the help of her fellow inmates, Babydoll (Emily Browning) imagines a series of adventures that mirror her real-life escape efforts, but ultimately must confront the harsh reality of her situation.
