The Fan

Der Fan is a 1982 West German horror thriller film directed by Eckhart Schmidt, following a disturbed teenage girl's obsessive love for a pop singer named R who reveals he does not love her back, leading to disastrous consequences. The film features Désirée Nosbusch as Simone, a teenage girl consumed by her fixation on R, who takes her to his dressing room and engages in a sexual encounter with her. After R's departure, Simone's obsession turns violent, resulting in the murder of the pop singer.
