Terribly Happy

Robert Hansen (Jakob Cedergren), a young police officer from Copenhagen, is transferred to the small town of Skarrild in Southern Jutland as a substitute Marshall. Ingerlise Buhl (Lene Maria Christensen) sets about insinuating herself into Robert's daily life, and he develops feelings for her after she is abused by her husband, Jørgen (Kim Bodnia). Following Ingelise's suspicious death, Robert becomes embroiled in a complex web of small-town secrets and rivalries.
