The Stranger by the Beach

Shun Hashimoto (Taishi Murata), a high school student who has been abandoned by his family after coming out, forms a close bond with Mio Chibana (Yoshitsugu Matsuoka) just before he is forced to move away. Years later, Mio returns with a confession that will change Shun's life forever. The film explores themes of love, bullying, and identity on the remote island of Okinawa.
