100 Rifles

In "100 Rifles," Arizona lawman Lyedecker (Jim Brown) travels into Mexico to apprehend half-breed bank robber Yaqui Joe (Burt Reynolds), who has stolen $6,000 and used it to buy 100 rifles for the Yaqui people fighting against a despotic Mexican general. The two men escape from prison and flee to the hills, where they team up with Sarita (Raquel Welch), a beautiful Indian revolutionary, and embark on a bloody battle against General Verdugo's forces. As Lyedecker becomes embroiled in the conflict, he begins to question his allegiances and ultimately chooses to return home alone, allowing Yaqui Joe to take over as the rebel leader after Sarita is killed in the fight.
