In "The Truth: Final Episode" (1989), Andy Lau stars as Raymond Lau, whose lawyer license is suspended after he sacrifices his career to save his ailing mother, Lan (Deanie Ip). With all evidence pointing to his involvement in the murder of a hostile policeman, Raymond's mother becomes the only one who can prove his innocence. As the truth unfolds, Liu Dehua plays Cat/Chan Hing, while Lau Siu-Ming and Paul Chun Pui appear as Mr. Ming and Prosecutor, respectively.
