Twice-Told Tales

In this 1963 anthology horror film, Vincent Price stars in three segments loosely adapted from Nathaniel Hawthorne's works. In "Dr. Heidegger's Experiment", Sebastian Cabot plays Dr. Carl Heidegger, who, along with Alex Medbourne (Price), undergoes a mysterious experiment to regain their youth. In "Rappaccini's Daughter", Price portrays Giacomo Rappaccini, a mad doctor who imprisons his daughter Beatrice (Joyce Taylor) in a deadly garden of poisonous plants. The film also stars Beverly Garland as Alice Pyncheon in the segment "The House of the Seven Gables".
