Sharpe Sharpe's Rifles

In 1809, Sergeant Richard Sharpe of the 95th Rifles saves Sir Arthur Wellesley from three French cavalrymen, earning a field commission to lieutenant and catapulting him into leadership. With his new rank comes an assignment: command a handful of sharpshooters attached to the company in search of a missing banker's draft in Spanish mountains. Sharpe must navigate treacherous terrain, mutinous men, and unexpected alliances with Spanish guerrillas as he confronts French cavalry and uncovers secrets about the flag that holds the key to Spain's fate.
