Mika Harms (Mika Boorem), a struggling actress turned social media influencer, accidentally steals the identity of a film producer and becomes embroiled in a rivalry between two companies competing to film the next big Hollywood blockbuster based on Mayan culture. She travels to Central America with her father Ben (Benjamin Boorem), a gemologist searching for a magic jade that both the film companies and a Mexican cartel are after, leading to a series of misadventures. Along the way, she must navigate her dual identity and team up with various characters, including Andy Slimmick (Devin Ratray).
