Military cadets at Bunker Hill Military Academy take extreme measures when their academy is threatened by local condo developers. After a tragic accident and the school's board of trustees announces its closure, the cadets, led by Cadet Major Brian Moreland (Timothy Hutton), take control of the campus to save it from shutting down permanently. The group faces off against National Guard troops in a tense standoff, ultimately resulting in tragedy.
