Aya Cash plays Mary Jackson, a substance abuse counsellor who returns to her hometown of Niagara Falls after being arrested for a DUI, only to discover her estranged father is dying of cancer and wants her to form a bond with her teenage half-sister Robyn (Sara Waisglass). As Mary navigates her complicated family relationships and personal struggles, she meets Lou (Melanie Nicholls-King), a former drug addict who helps her find work and confront her demons.
