My Father's Glory

"My Father's Glory" is a 1990 French film directed by Yves Robert, based on Marcel Pagnol's autobiographical novel. The story follows young Marcel (Julien Ciamaca) as he spends a summer with his family in Provence, southern France, where he befriends a boy named Lili (Joris Molinas). After a series of adventures and misunderstandings, Marcel must confront the reality of leaving his new friend behind when it's time to return home.
