"West North West" follows Kei (Hanae Kan), a closeted lesbian bartender, and Naima (Sahel Rosa), an Iranian art student in Japan, as they navigate their lives and relationships amidst societal pressures and cultural differences. Meanwhile, Ai (Yuka Yamauchi), Kei's model girlfriend, grapples with her own feelings of loneliness and disconnection. As the three women's paths intersect, they find solace in shared moments of vulnerability and connection.
