In the Wild West of 1879, a slick gambler named Russell Donovan comes to Quake City on his way to open a casino in New Orleans, only to find himself saddled with three mischievous orphans and a wealth of trouble when they stumble upon a huge gold nugget. Joining forces with two bumbling outlaws, he must fend off the greedy townspeople and face a surly gang of sharpshooters in this entertaining Western comedy about adoption, marriage of convenience, and finding love amidst chaos.
