In a striking blend of action, comedy, and drama, "Rocket Perelman" follows Jen, a young woman disillusioned with city life and her fashion industry job, as she joins an artist colony in the Brandenburg wasteland. There, she becomes embroiled in a self-sufficient living community that oscillates between individualism and community, art and commerce. As tensions rise within the commune, leading roles are offered to Jen and her friends for a theater performance - but can they reconcile their ideals with the harsh realities of survival?
