The Babadook

Amelia Vanek (Essie Davis) is a single mother still haunted by the violent death of her husband, struggling to cope with her six-year-old son Samuel's growing fear of an imaginary monster in their home, after he discovers a mysterious children's book called Mr. Babadook that signals the start of a sinister presence that she herself can begin to fear as well.
