Amores de Chumbo

"Amores de Chumbo" follows Maê, a writer from Pernambuco based in France, as she returns home after 40 years to uncover old doubts and suspicions with her couple, Miguel and Lúcia, who are celebrating their 40-year anniversary. The film explores the perspectives of these three main characters, including Miguel, a sociology professor and former political prisoner, and Lúcia, his life partner dedicated to getting him out of prison.
