The Big Clock

George Stroud (Ray Milland), editor-in-chief of Crimeways magazine, is tasked by his tyrannical boss Earl Janoth to find the killer after a glamorous blonde is murdered. As Stroud delves deeper into the investigation, he realizes that all evidence points to him being the fall guy, and he must navigate the complex web of clues while trying to clear his name. With the help of his wife Georgette (Maureen O'Sullivan) and assistant Steve Hagen (George Macready), Stroud must outsmart Janoth's security team and uncover the truth behind the murder.
