In the chaotic wake of Eyjafjallajökull's eruption, a divorced couple is forced to join forces and embark on a road trip together to reach their daughter's wedding in Greece, navigating their mutual hatred amidst the mayhem of grounded flights, treacherous roads, and unpredictable volcanic activity. Along the way, they encounter an assortment of eccentric characters, from friendly strangers to gruff authority figures, who challenge their animosity and test their resolve.
