Hooked Up

Two young friends from New York travel to Barcelona to get over a break-up, but their wild night takes a dark turn when they're locked in a house by a killer ghost. Trapped and fighting for survival, they must also confront the evil within themselves. Shot entirely on an iPhone 4S, this found footage horror film premiered at the Sitges Film Festival in 2013 and was released to video-on-demand in 2015. With its unexpected direction and competently directed tension, Hooked Up is a surprisingly entertaining thriller that might just have been worth watching if only for its bold premise.
