Frisky

The 1954 Italian romantic comedy film "Frisky" (also known as Bread, Love and Jealousy) follows the relationships between Marshal Carotenuto (Vittorio De Sica), his bride-to-be Maria (Gina Lollobrigida), a rookie carabiniere Pietro (Roberto Risso), and his fiancée Annarella (Marisa Merlini), as they are all affected by Pietro's temporary assignment to a distant town. As the young carabiniere is separated from his fiancée, Maria leaves her job at the marshal's house to join a dancing group, causing tension among the group members, including the marshal and Annarella. In the end, Pietro and Maria are reunited and leave the village, while the marshal says goodbye to them from the station, marking the beginning of Maria's new life as a midwife in another town.
