South Bound

The film "South Bound" (2013) tells the story of Choi Hae-gap (Kim Yun-seok), a documentary filmmaker who refuses to pay electricity and taxes, living by his principles. After his son Na-ra (Baek Su-ho) gets caught up in a protest against the development of Deul Island, Hae-gap is forced to move there with his family. There, he must confront the consequences of his actions and lead a strike against the construction company threatening the island's residents, putting his own family in grave danger.
