The Boys in the Band

In 1968, Michael, a Roman Catholic, recovering alcoholic and sporadically employed actor, hosts a birthday party for his friend Harold in their Manhattan Upper East Side apartment. As the evening progresses, an unexpected guest arrives, setting off a chain reaction of emotions, conflicts, and self-revelations among the guests. Tensions mount as hidden resentments surface, and dormant feelings are unleashed, culminating in a dramatic confrontation that forces each character to confront the truth about themselves and their relationships with one another.
