Sid Straw (Tony Hale), a software company manager, becomes obsessed with proving he was friends with actress Elizabeth Banks in their college days after helping plan her reunion. With each failed attempt to prove his connection, he rediscovers more of himself and the true meaning of friendship. Sid's quest takes him on an unexpected journey, leading him to rediscover old memories and form new connections.
